Happy New Year Bonus Photos

NOAA lake superior Dec. 27 2017

Temps beow zero and winds gusting to more than 30 miles per hour create sea smoke on Lake Superior. A NOAA satellite captured the effect on Lake Superior on Dec. 27.

Hi Everyone!

I found lots of  ice-cold images in the last few days and thought I’d share a few of them with you for New Year’s. Our local photographers (and others) seem to love going out and capturing this extreme weather. Hope you enjoy. Stay tuned for our first post of 2018 for lots more. (FYI: If you want info from this week’s regular post, keep scrolling down.)
