Never put your shovels away in Minnesota until May. Wild turkey and deer in the back yard. Photo by Sparky Stensaas.
Honestly, we’re all getting quite tired of snow, beautiful as it is. We had our latest yesterday … huge white flakes that lightly covered everything. The perk? It was a balmy – 32 degrees with no wind. But, as Sparky Stensaas notes above, even though April is just around the corner, it probably isn’t a good idea to put your shovels away quite yet. Maybe he’ll be wrong this year?
Meanwhile, we’re keeping busy in Cook County.
